If your library withdraws the last local copy of a serial with a MARC Holdings and/or serial control record:
* Remove your library's serial control record, if one is present.
:* If you do not do this, then the library with the last ''system'' copy will be unable to withdraw their item!
* Delete your library's 599 field from the catalog record. (Look for the field that contains the policy number listed for your library on the [[Library codes]] page.)
* Remove your library's MARC Holdings record.
* Remove your library's Local Holdings Record (LHR) from OCLC via the Connexion Browser.  See [[Deleting local holdings records from WorldCat]] for details on that process.

  • Remove your library's serial control record, if one is present.
  • Remove your library's MARC Holdings record.
  • Optionally, delete your library's 599 field from the catalog record. 599 ‡a indicates the library policy number.
