An e-Book reader (that is, the physical equipment, such as a Rocket Reader, Kindle, or Nook) is cataloged following the rules for creating a [[generic record]] (such as using a Title Control Number of x, the library's 3-letter code, and a unique identifier, e.g. <code>xEAKNOOK003</code>), with these exceptions:


Records are entered in the format for visual materials (VM).
