This resource lists current local cataloging practices and recent decisions of the Catalog and Metadata Management (CAMM) Technical Group.
Web version established in November 2008, with a major revision in early 2017.  If something is missing from this site, email [mailto:help@ccslib.org CCS Member Services].

CCS catalogers are to follow the practices in this manual, OCLC's [http://www.oclc.org/bibformats/en.html Bibliographic Formats & Standards] (BF&S), the [http://access.rdatoolkit.org/document.php?id=lcpschp0&target=lcps0-62#lcps0-62 Library of Congress-Program for Cooperative Cataloging Policy Statements] (LC-PCC PS), and [http://access.rdatoolkit.org/ Resource Description & Access] (RDA), in that order of precedence.
This resource replaces the print ''CCS Cataloging Manual'', which is now out-of-date. Please consult this wiki for current practices and recent cataloging decisions of the Cataloging Technical Group.
This web version was established in November 2008, and updates are considered at the monthly [[SCRAP]] meeting.

CCS Cataloging Manual

Purpose

This resource lists current local cataloging practices and recent decisions of the Catalog and Metadata Management (CAMM) Technical Group. Web version established in November 2008, with a major revision in early 2017. If something is missing from this site, email CCS Member Services.
