Playaway View devices are generally cataloged as videorecordings, with the following exceptions.

Add an 006 field for the electronic resource aspects.

In 2016 code s was implemented in 007/01 for "standalone device," replacing z.

Publisher number (028)
Record the publisher's videorecording number in an 028 field. Watch out for original cataloging done by Playaway themselves, as the indicators will usually be wrong.

Transcribe "Findaway World, LLC" as the publisher. Do not treat any form of "Playaway" as a publisher.
Date of publication (264 ‡c)
Playaway View devices were first sold in 2010, so they cannot have a publication date earlier than that.
