When cataloging works by authors who use multiple names or pseudonyms, follow the guidelines provided by RDA, especially rule 9.2.2.8. If a work in the CCS database has been published under two different names, e.g., a book first published with a pseudonym on the title page and later with the author's real name, one name will be chosen to be the main entry on all editions of the work in the CCS database.

  • Create a new record for the work in hand.
  • Decide which name should be used as the single main entry.
