On May 19, 2021, CAMM approved the motion to allow Homosaurus subject headings in the CCS database. Homosaurus is an international linked data vocabulary of LGBTQ+ terms. This vocabulary is intended to function as a supplement to broad subject term vocabularies, such as the Library of Congress Subject Headings. It has been accepted for use in OCLC records and has been assigned the source code (‡2) homoit.
