-CCS is committed to improving access to children's materials.  The following guidelines are provided to assist catalogers in making consistent decisions when cataloging children's materials.  The guidelines are not meant to be all-inclusive.  They only touch on areas that need clarification.

Juvenile works can be coded using the general code j or a specific code (a, b, or c).
