The Content facet in BiblioCore is populated by the Literary Form fixed field in a bibliographic record (008 position 33). The Database Management Committee reviewed recommendations from CCS regarding how this fixed field works with BiblioCore.<ref>Database Management, June 17, 2026</ref> The Committee voted to continue to require the completion of the Literary Form field, while lifting the requirement that Novels are coded as Fiction.
