Training session for the CCS Vernon Area Public Library migration. Please email help@ccslib.org with any questions.

New acquisitions functions have been added to Leap during the last few updates. This session will begin with a review of the current state of the functions that are available and aren’t available in Leap yet. Then we will review the set up tasks and daily workflows including:

• Working with fiscal year and fund records.
• Creating supplier records.
• Creating and editing item record templates.
• Importing on order records.
• Bulk adding titles to a PO.
• Manually creating POs.
• Receiving and invoicing.
• Taxes, credits, charges and discounts.

Hands on activities will be included to provide time for you to practice tasks related to your daily workflow. Topics not covered include Leap Basics and searching in Leap.

• Introduction to Polaris in Leap
• The Leap Find Tool for Acquisitions
